Mossman Gorge

Mossman Gorge is a must do for any visitor to the beautiful Far North Queensland region. Situated in the southern part of the World Heritage Listed, Daintree National Park, Mossman Gorge is also one of the few places in the country that visitors can gain an insight into the lives, culture and beliefs of Australia’s Indigenous population and their connection to the natural environment.

Join a guided Dreamtime Walk tour to get a deeper insight into the ancient flora and fauna of the rainforest, and learn about traditional plant uses and Kuku Yalanji culture.

Or take in the beauty of its pristine rainforest, cool streams, towering mountains and the dramatic Gorge at your own pace on one of the self-guided walks in the Daintree National Park.

Whatever you do, make sure as part of your stay in Palm Cove to discover for yourself the beauty of the Mossman Gorge.

Please note that while the Yalanji people extend a warm welcome to the Bubu Mossman Gorge, visitors are required to use the provided shuttle service rather than walking through the community to access the Gorge. Please adhere to posted signage and respect social distancing requirements and other health recommendations to protect our vulnerable community members, especially our Elders.
