With more than 2,000 hours of teaching experience, Beth Hartig of Hartig Yoga has spent the last decade guiding both locals and visitors in Palm Cove through the transformative practice of yoga. After studying psychology in the UK and completing her yoga training in India, Beth settled in Palm Cove in 2014, where her beachfront classes have become a beloved ritual.
During the retreat, Beth will lead daily yoga sessions and journaling by the Coral Sea and poolside at The Reef House, including Vinyasa, Hatha, Slow Flow and Restorative practices — blending mindful movement with reflection to nurture both body and mind.
With over three decades of yoga practice, Cathrena McRae has helped countless Reef House guests ease into relaxation through her gentle stretch and breathe classes by the pool.
At the retreat, Cathrena will guide mindfulness and meditation sessions, creating space for clarity, calm and release. Guests can also join her signature Stretch & Breathe classes, designed to gently reduce tension and support flexibility in a serene poolside setting.
Originally from Switzerland, Spa Director Isabelle Neil trained with Clarins, Chanel, Dior and Phytomer, specialising in anti-ageing and deep relaxation therapies. She now leads The Reef House Spa with a philosophy of personalised care and world-class rejuvenation.
Retreat guests will enjoy one 60-minute spa treatment — beginning with a 30-minute Relaxation Massage, followed by their choice of a rejuvenating Botanical Spa Facial, rich in active botanicals and vitamin C to firm, brighten and hydrate, or the soothing Marine Facial, designed to calm, restore and deeply hydrate sensitive skin.

Founder of local business Blackbooks Tea, Marg Frederick has been hand-blending organic loose-leaf teas in Cairns since 2009. Dedicated to purity and flavour, her blends use Australian-grown and certified organic herbs, fruits and teas, with no additives or teabags in sight.
At the retreat, Marg will introduce guests to the art of tea blending, guiding you to create your own personalised infusion while discovering the health benefits and flavours of her locally sourced ingredients.
With 44 years of experience as a physiotherapist and founder of a leading physiotherapy and wellbeing centre in Cairns, Amanda Gale has devoted her life to the art of healing and renewal. Her journey has embraced diverse traditions – from herbal medicine and nutrition to yoga, meditation, and energy work – weaving science with soul. Amanda believes true wellbeing is a gentle balance of body, mind and spirit. At the Reef House, she invites guests to pause, breathe, and rediscover vitality in her inspiring session, “How to Live a Healthy Lifestyle”.
